San Mateo, CA -- Bay to Bay brought home 5 division championships (including the 18-Open, 16-Open, 15-Open, 14-Open, and 13-No Dinx division) during this past weekends NCVA Qualifier while battling against teams from all over Northern California, Hawaii, Canada, and the Pacific Northwest.
Club Director Arielle Houlihan said:
"It was a tremendous weekend of volleyball for Bay to Bay. It is not often that we get to have our entire club competing at the same facility, so to see and feel the camaraderie amongst Bay to Bay players, parents, and coaches was very special."

Bay to Bay 18-1
The 18-1's have continued to improve their game as the season has progressed. The boys were in entertaining form this weekend; winning the 18-Open division behind some fantastic performances on Sunday. The 18-1's earned the lone Open Bid and will compete next weekend in Chicago.
Bay to Bay 18-2
The 18-2's went 1-2 on Saturday while competing in the 18-Open division, defeating a tough Canadian team. From there, they dropped into the Silver division where they again went 1-2. Coach Josh and Sam's team finished 7th overall in the 18-Open division but will have another opportunity to compete in the Open division next weekend at the Chicago Qualifier.
Bay to Bay 17-1
While competing in the 17-Open division, Bay to Bay 17-1's went 3-3 on the weekend. After losing a tough match 28-30 on Saturday evening, the team was knocked out of bid contention. On Sunday, they rebounded with a total team effort to earn a third place finish and bring home some hardware. The 17-1's will look to earn an Open bid next weekend in Chicago.
Bay to Bay 17-2
Coach Mark and Kevin's team came into the 17-USA division seeded as the #8 seed. After going 2-1 on Saturday, the team positioned themselves into one of two Championship pools on Sunday. The boys battled hard, going 1-2 in the pool which was good for a top-5 finish in the USA division!
Bay to Bay 16-1
Last years National Runner-Ups took care of business this weekend, going a perfect 6-0 in a strong NorCal 16's division claiming the only allotted Open bid. After a full season in the 18's division, Coach Javi noted that "the boys looked calm and collected throughout the weekend". The 16-1's will travel to Chicago on Friday to compete in the Winter Championships in Chicago.
Bay to Bay 16-2
Coach Chris and Ryan's team looked fantastic this weekend while competing in the 16-Open division. On Saturday, the boys narrowly missed an upset of the #4 ranked team, falling in the third set 12-15. On Sunday, the 16-2's moved into the Silver division where they went undefeated finishing in 5th place.
Bay to Bay 15-1
The 15-1's were a force in the 16's division throughout the entire Fall and that did not change as they moved into the 15's division of the NorCal bid tournament. Coach Chad and Jason's team went a perfect 6-0, claiming the divisions championship and an Open bid.
Bay to Bay 15-2
The 15-2's finished the weekend 4-2, narrowly losing their Gold crossover match 12-15 in the third set on Saturday. On Sunday, the boys went 3-0 without dropping a set. Throughout the Fall, the 15-2's have made strides as they progressed from the 7'4 net to the 8'0 net. They finished the season in the top-20 of the 16-under division for Power League.
Bay to Bay 15-Club
The boys of 15-Club went 1-4 on the weekend while playing in the 15-Open division. On Saturday they had a strong showing against Bay to Bay 15-2's in their morning pool, and then narrowly lost a crossover match to stay in the Gold division 26-28, 17-25. On the Fall, 15-Club finished 28th of 36 teams in the 16-Under division.
Bay to Bay 14-1
Coach Frank and Allie's squad came out firing in the 14-Open division and never let up. They swept through Saturday's matches 4-0, and then carried that momentum through Sunday where they went 4-0 again en route to the 14-Open Championship and an Open division bid. The 14-1's finished their Fall Power League campaign as the #11 seed in Gold of the 16-under division!
Bay to Bay 14-2
Coach Ricardo and Jon's team went 2-4 on the weekend, falling just short from reaching the Gold bracket in two three set matches on their Sunday pool. Over the weekend, the 14-2's were the only team to score more than 20 points on the Bay to Bay 14-1's. The 14-2's finished out the year as the #6 team in the 14-under division of Power League!
Bay to Bay 14-Club
The 14-Club boys started the weekend off strong, taking 2nd place in the Saturday morning pool going 2-1. They advanced into the Gold bracket pool where they went 0-3. Coach Ryan and Chris' team finished the tournament in 8th place and had the highlight play of the weekend, check out the video below:
Bay to Bay 13-1
The 13-1's played up in the 14-under division for the NorCal Bid tournament and held their own. The team went undefeated on Saturday, advancing into the Gold power pool. On Sunday, the 13-1's fell in three sets to both Kuikahi and MVVC 14-1's narrowly missing a berth in the Final Four.
Bay to Bay 13-2
Coach Josh and Dalton's team brought home the 13-under Championship this past weekend, winning a thrilling 3-setter in the Championship match by the scores of 23-25, 25-21, 15-13. Coach Dalton said, "It's been great seeing the boys grow so much and become more of a team".
Bay to Bay 12-1
Coach Evan and Lacey's team finished 3rd in the 13-under division, narrowly missing a berth in the Championship match losing to MVVC 13-1's in three sets (25-19, 24-26, 11-15). On the year, the 12-1's were the top 12-under team in Northern California and ranked as the #10 team in the entire 14-under division!
