Following this past weekends NCVA Far Western bid tournament we have reached the unofficial midway point of the boys club volleyball season. Ten Bay to Bay teams concluded their seasons on Sunday and our five other teams will finish this upcoming weekend at the Boy's Winter Championships in Chicago.
Take a look at our Bay to Bay team finishes from the weekend and the Fall Power League season:
18-1's: Took home the silver medal and secured an open bid to Junior Nationals in July by winning a thrilling semi-final match by the score of 25-23, 22-25, and 15-13.
18-2's: Finished 10th in the open division, improving their original Power League seed from 33 to finish with a seed of 16.
17-1's: Brought home the silver medal at Far Westerns and an open bid. They finished the power league season in 5th place in the 18's division.
17-2's: Finished in 7th place of the open division at Far Westerns. The 17-2's had an extremely strong showing throughout the Power League season, ending in 9th place of the 18's division.
16-1's: The bronze medalists from Far Westerns this past weekend were amongst the top three 16's teams all Fall. They will head to Chicago this upcoming weekend with an open bid in hand!
16-2's: Coach Sam Nolan's team took home 5th place in the 16 open division and completed a strong Fall season of Power League play.
16-Foundry: Finished 13th in the 16 open division, jumping 19 spots from their original power league seed of 32!
15-1's: Brought home the silver medal from Far Westerns and secured their 15 open bid. Throughout the course of the Power League season, the 15-1's finished 3rd in the 16's division!
15-2's: Coach Gregg and Chris's squad finished 7th place in the 15 open division of Far Westerns, going 4-2 overall on the weekend.
14-1's: Took home the silver medal and a 14 open bid at Far Westerns. The 14-1's will look to continue their winning ways with a trip to Chicago this upcoming weekend.
14-2's: Finished in 9th place at Far Westerns and maintained a top-8 position in the 14's division of Power League finishing in 7th place in Power League points.
14-Foundry: Coach Beau's squad finished in 8th place at Far Westerns and as high as 5th place during the Power League season.
13-1's: Coach Allie and Franks team took home the gold at Far Westerns defeating Bay to Bay 12-1's team in the finals. Throughout Power League the 13-1's finished in the top-4 including a bronze medal finish at 14's Region Championships.
13-2's: Coach Josh's team finished fifth at Far Westerns and made two appearances in the silver division of 14's Power League.
12-1's: Coach Ryan and John's team took the 13's division by storm going 4-1 in pool play and making it to the finals of the tournament eventually losing to the 13-1's in the finals. The silver medalists also had a strong showing throughout the Power League season, finishing in 13th place of the 14's division.

Spring Beach Club: Bay to Bay Spring Beach Club tryouts will be held in February. Practices are held entirely on Sunday mornings, which minimizes conflicts with the high school volleyball season. This is the best way to stay improve your game during the off season of indoor club volleyball!
Middle School Clinics: Spring clinics registration is now open and there are limited spots remaining in all eight clinic dates. These clinics provide a comprehensive learning environment for players of all skill and experience levels to get into the gym and enjoy the game!
